About The Role\:
This job is the Technical Support Engineer for Haptic products. Currently the haptic product line includes the Touch, Touch X and Premium haptic hardware. Also included are the device driver, utility applications, plugin for game engines, and open haptic SDK. A technical support engineer will respond to customer communication (typically calls or email) and help troubleshoot and solve the customer issue with the haptic device. Sometimes the customer issue will be escalated to engineering or result in an RMA for device repair or replacement. This position will also handle aspects of the RMA process. This is remote position within the U.S.

Salary\:
$28.00 - $44.00 per hour is the range for this position. The pay range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Four year technical degree or equivalent work experience. Experience in a customer technical support, Help desk, or similar customer facing position. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Microsoft Office and Salesforce. General PC troubleshooting skills and familiarity with windows networking. Ability to multi-task effectively. Ability to work independently. Must be able to sit for extended period of time in front of a computer. Position requires use of headset/microphone.
