Responsible for providing leadership to the Reheat and Blow Department across the Bottles region for all machine mechanical and processing issues as well as assisting with the analysis, planning and improvement of all processes, systems and equipment. Will provide high level technical support to the manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities Develop training plans and checklist for RHB machine operations.Develop instructions on how to troubleshoot RHB machines and make recommendations to location leadership on machine condition and immediate correction of issues found.Provide recommendations on PMs needing to be completed.Support plants on special projects (Sidel interventions) utilizing events as training opportunities for Operators. Drive scrap reduction initiatives in RHB across all plants.Document and standardize the RHB training program for the Bottles Region.  downstream equipment.Works with technicians on complex processing issues.Implements modifications and improvements, works with department manager and/or corporate engineering on scheduling new projects, and makes recommendations for process improvements.Maintains preventive maintenance program and ensures that these are performed as scheduled.Reviews and analyzes daily production performance to ensure that the department is meeting efficiency goals.Works with staff to accomplish activities in an efficient and safe manner by aiding with daily processing issues and provides training opportunities to the technicians.Works with Maintenance and Tooling Managers to ensure that adequate parts are maintained.Establishes CQV including sample runs and action plans that relate to production machinery and process.Oversees the changeover processes with a focus on efficiency improvement.Participates individually or on cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement and problem-solving activities throughout the facility.Monitor equipment downtime and lead Root Cause Analysis initiatives to eliminate downtime or equipment variations.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Demonstrates high level knowledge of all machines within the RHB department and supporting equipment.Ability to adjust and replace belts, torque limiters, chains, mold bearings, cams, 3-way valves, blow nozzles, proximity sensors, air regulars and other equipment as needed.Ability to identify root cause by mold station, transfer arm, spindle, oven, mechanical interference, preform problem, process change, temperatures, measuring and visual inspection.Is able to troubleshoot and recommend procedures to improve production efficiencies and/or produce a higher quality product.Develops, upgrades, and drives new standards across manufacturing processes to increase production efficiency and productivity.Validate old and new standardsAssist Quality in sampling new resins/color concentrates as well as the completion of CQV’s for new or refurbished mold qualifications when required.Perform capability studies on the production equipment and develop corrective action plans to improve capabilities.Team facilitator for process and mold technicians to gather process improvement ideas, drive engineering changes, and implement preventative and corrective actions.Understands and demonstrates proper safety procedures (LOTO, safety block usage, proper propane torch usage and other safety equipment)Strong communication skills, good observation skills, positive attitude and be detail oriented.Ability to train and share knowledge of processing of all the machines within the departmentMultiple years of experience in Reheat and Blow Molding.AS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.Up to 90% Travel requirement
