About the Role
Do you have what it takes to continuously provide outstanding developer support? We’re looking for a Developer Support Engineer to focus on providing a superior experience for developers working with the Workday Extend platform. As a member of the Workday Extend Support team, you’ll work directly with our Engineering, Product Management, Documentation and Evangelism teams to create a compelling developer experience for our customers and partners.
In this role you’ll be responsible for answering developer’s questions and driving product and documentation improvements that directly translate to a better developer experience. What Will You Do All Day...
Respond to developers' technical support requests and feature-related questions via our ticketing system and Developer Forum.
Contributing to the definition and evolution of Workday Extend methodologies, standards and best practices for support and product delivery.
Identifying developer needs and cultivate a relationship with the developer to create a compelling experience for Workday Extend platform.
Manage technical and product issues and escalations, delivering the highest level of developer satisfaction.
Write sample code, technical articles, and reference applications on some of the basic to intermediate level uses cases using our SDKs and platform.
Participate in Developer Forum to support the growth of self-help within the Workday Developer Community.

● Contribuir a la definición y evolución de las metodologías, normas y mejores prácticas de Workday Extend para soporte y entrega de productos.
● Identificar las necesidades de los desarrolladores y cultivar una relación con ellos para crear una experiencia atractiva en la plataforma Workday Extend.
● Gestionar los problemas técnicos y de producto, así como los escalamientos, y ofrecer el máximo nivel de satisfacción a los desarrolladores.
● Escribir código de ejemplo, artículos técnicos y aplicaciones de referencia sobre algunos de los casos de uso de nivel básico a intermedio utilizando nuestros kits de desarrollo de software y nuestra plataforma.
● Participar en el foro de desarrolladores para fomentar el crecimiento de la autoayuda en la Comunidad de Desarrolladores de Workday.

Basic Qualifications
3 to 5 years of Programming experience in one or more of the following: REST/JSON, XML, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Ruby, and Python.
3 to 5 years of experience providing technical support for enterprise software applications
Other Qualifications
Experience in debugging code issue utilizing stack traces
Understanding of OAuth flows
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Empathy for developers and their development/learning process
Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Location: This position is based in the Workday Costa Rica office working in our flex model. The Shift is Tuesday - Saturday (8/9am to 5/6pm CST) OR Monday - Friday (12pm to 9pm CST)

Lugar: esta posición se encuentra en la oficina de Workday en Costa Rica, con modalidad de trabajo flexible. El turno es de martes a sábado (8/9am to 5/6pm hora estándar central) O de lunes a viernes (12pm to 9pm hora estándar central).
