Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) - German Speaker

Within the Engineering Department, Technical Support Engineers provide highly qualified technical post-sales support to both external and internal customers. NI Technical Support is a key-value added service that ensures customer success and repetitive business. As a German speaking Technical Support Engineer you will gain a deep knowledge of NI products and apply that expertise to solving our customers' problem and challenges, providing technical consultation and being a recognized instructor of NI Customer Education portfolio.
 
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Gain a deep understanding and learning of NI products portfolio through a formal initial training program and a continuous improvement attitude Understand customers' problems or challenges, find a communicate creative technical post-sales solution to maximize customer satisfaction and follow-up with customer to provide a great user experience Delivering customer education for core products with clear explanations of technical content and answering questions. Ensuring adaptability of the content and explanations to match the skill level of the customers Support internal customers: Sales: providing technical support, developing Proof of Concepts (POC's), generating 
highly qualified sales leads Marketing: attending and presenting at seminars and roadshow
    Who You Are: You keep in touch with customers. You solicit both input and discussion. You become an early adopter.     For This Role, You Will Need: Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electric Engineering or Physics Technical aptitude and a thorough understanding of electronics and high-level programming languages Must be able to handle multiple task Must enjoy working with people and contribute to the team success as well as working tenaciously in order to meet or exceed personal goals Strong customer focus and problem solving to analyze the problem and think creatively to provide a solution Willing to put self in unfamiliar situation in order to learn and to identify new areas of learning* Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities and choose appropriate actions Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are key Fluent spoken and written English and German A proactive/can do attitude is vital
 
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience in instrumentation & control, industrial automation is preferred
