The Opportunity:
Global Customer Support (GCS), a part of the global organization Roche Diagnostics Solution is responsible for technical services in the Diagnostics Division. GCS supports the service organizations of the Roche affiliates and the Lifecycle-Teams. GCS with its approximately 1000 employees is located in Mannheim, Penzberg, Rotkreuz, Meylan, Tucson, Pleasanton, S, Cugat, Panama, Columbia, Sao Paulo, Indianapolis.
As a Support & Training Specialist in GCS Support & Training, you will ensure ongoing product support for analytical systems in Point of Care with focus on corresponding IT & digital applications and services. You will contribute to product care quality meetings and provide service relevant information.
You will be responsible for training (conceptualization to implementation) and technical support for different target groups such as service engineers:
You are actively involved in service initiatives such as digital applications, system solutions, concepts and data analysis.
Your expertise lies in training and technical support for analytical systems
You will provide support for the analysis of related problems, contributing to the appropriate solution
You are support complex issues regarding installation, repair and configuration and if necessary, you provide onsite support to customers
In close cooperation with regional training centers, you will perform target group-specific training courses
In addition, you will be involved in projects with internal and external manufacturers for new and further development of analytical systems
You are a close interface to the Repair Service Centers located in various countries. Your primary responsibility is to provide product service training and support to the local engineers. Furthermore, you actively contribute to the implementation and enhancement of Repair Service Center processes.
You have a strong affinity for IT and digital technologies
Who you are:
A qualified degree in technology (preferably in electronic/automation or medical engineering)
You have experience in the Point of Care area
Ideally, you have first professional experience in supporting and servicing medical
technology equipment systems in combination with IT solutions
You enjoy developing and implementing training sessions for service engineers, which are predominantly held in English. You already have the methodology and teaching skills for this job
You enjoy working for and with customers and are extremely service-oriented
You enjoy working in global matrix structures, write and speak English fluently, and count communication and teamwork skills as well as intercultural skills among your strengths
You are open to frequent and extended travel (approximately 30%)
