Technical Support & Field Sales Representative
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Technical Support & Field Sales Representative. **What you’ll do:** **Description** Primarily responsible to provide technical support on Eaton-Bussmann’s Low and Medium Voltage products to both internal and external customers including but not limited to end users, distributors, sales representatives, and field applications engineers. Responsibilities of the position include assistance on Product Selection, Troubleshooting, and Application criteria. Also, this position is responsible to implement product training for the Field Application Engineers, District Sales Engineers, and Customer Service Representatives. In addition, the Technical Support and Field Sales Representative, has responsibility to promote Eaton-Bussmann’s electrical circuit protection products and solutions for existing customers while identifying new potential customers in her/his assigned territory. Accountable to develop proposals and the assessment of customer needs to recommend appropriate products and customized solutions to meet customer requirements and specifications. **Qualifications** a) Build effective business relationships with external customers. b) Obtain, keep, and maintain customers’ contact information (Purchasing, Engineering, MRO, etc). c) Provide training to customers, distributors, resellers, and end users. d) Specify Bussmann Solutions for the MRO and OEM segments. e) Provide support to external and internal customers to solve any issue related with technical support. f) Support Bussmann FAEs (Field Application Engineers) during visits to engineering firms, contractors, OEMs, EPCs, housing developers, MROs, and third-party construction companies (offices, schools, malls, hospitals, etc.) g) Work on technical specification with engineering firms, contractors, OEM´s, EPC´s, home constructors, MRO´s, government, and third-party construction companies (offices, schools, malls, hospitals, etc.). h) Supply all the requirements to get the job done (samples, catalogs, POP materials, data sheets, concept catalogs, etc.). i) Get Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback to contribute to the roadmap process. j) Report out all the competitor’s initiative to support business/market intelligence. k) Develop projects with end users and key distributors and update records in CRM System (SalesForce). l) Self-motivated to achieve sales goals and targets on monthly and quarterly basis. m) Report out demand information from end customers for forecast accuracy purposes. n) Use the information and digital tools provided to stablish the strategy for business reviews with customers. o) Develop and train sales specialists at main/key distributors. p) Continue follow up of projects from distributors and end users. q) Support the assigned accounts and develop relationships with new accounts, (resale, end user, etc.) \#LI-DG2 **Qualifications:** **Main Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering. A similar degree in Engineering is also acceptable. - 5 years of experience of application engineering, technical support or similar role in charge of Electrical protection industry such as: Disconnectors, fuses, power distributors, engine control centers, panel boards, electrical control boards or similar components. - Technical Advanced English proficiency Level. - Previous experience in sales, good communication, and presentation skills are required for the job. Also, experience in electrical specification or engineering design is desirable. Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job / 1st Shift Remote work (i.e. working from home or another Eaton facility) allowed for this position?
