Technical Support Manager (Sweden or Austria) (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated person to take on the role of Technical Support Manager within our Customer Service Excellence function. In the role as Technical Support Manager you will oversee and coordinate a team with focus on, troubleshooting, technical support and field service of installed intralogistics automated equipment. The team consists of highly experienced and technical employees located in two locations: Eberstalzell (Austria) and Linköping (Sweden). You are a dynamic leader with experience and will to lead, coordinate, prioritize and distribute the incoming work request to the right resource for the job. Typical tasks are support tickets (third level), field service tasks and resolution of warranty claims in collaboration with other functions at Swisslog. Location of the position holder is flexible between Eberstazell in Austria or Linköping in Sweden. As the team is based in different locations, traveling should be expected.   You will focus on the development of your team and the support organization dedicated to our installed base across the world. You will also be able to support in shaping the strategic direction of Customer Service Excellence in regards of support, maintenance, and field services by different initiatives, projects, both strategic and operative. Together with your team, you will plan and coordinate all field assignments and distribute support tickets for prompt resolution. You are jointly responsible for ensuring compliance with all labor law and occupational safety regulations. You will also be responsible for the tools and toolkits as well as coordinate the organization of Customer training courses.  

  Application Requirements What you need to succeed Sound professional experience in the field of technical support, ideally from our automation intralogistic industry. Experience with automation controls is an advantage. Experience in support and maintenance of electromechanical and controls equipment is desirable. You are fluent in English and preferably also in German / Swedish too.   You communicate transparently, effectively and consistently with all stakeholders involved and are able to focus on the needs of our customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction. You are also able to keep your focus and motivate your team even in stressful situation and busy phases. If you are a people person, with a passion for technology and customers, you might be the right person for the role.
