Technical Support Representative

Responsible for supporting the fleet of PC’s, laptops, and Thin Client devices including imaging of OS, application sets and peripheral devices. Works closely with Business Analysts, Software Developers, Systems Integration Team, Security Team, IT Managers, and the business as an integral part of the ITSM support process.

Primary Responsibilities

Address and respond to customer inquiries on technical products and services including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting and maintenanceProvide customers with preventative maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance and customer satisfactionMaintain system images using currently available imaging tools/techniquesBuild/prepare new system images for new hardware rolloutsReimage system with hardware failuresHandle warranty and non-warranty parts replacementsMaintain record of all repairs, shipping and equipment information in Service Desk ticketing solutionProvide 3rd level technical supportDiagnose and repair Windows Desktop softwareInstall software as requiredScan for and remediate security vulnerabilitiesRecommend proven vulnerability remediations for application to broader audienceMaintain asset list of retired/recycled inventoryProvide updates to leadership on treads and/or recurring issues with hardware and software

Job Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

3 years of experience providing technical supportKnowledge of all major computer brands, their warranty processes and replacement policiesKnowledge of software, technologies, and applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills
