Technical Support Service Administrator
What We Need: This role will carry out general administrative and support functions for the technical support services group. What You'll Be Doing: + Research part numbers requested by customers for field team. + Enter, proof and track all machine part, accessory and service-related orders + Communicate with Sales & Tech Support team and or customers to verify all information is correct and clear up any missing information or inconsistencies on orders + Review open order report & Held order report - work with internal team to release or complete orders + Respond to Customer and Sales Team requests for information such as part and service quotes, tracking information, call tags, credits and re-bills - work with internal departments to process + Contact customers for collecting payment information + Manage the tracking and return of warranty parts + Create dispatch requests for install and orientations and other onsite service requests. What You Will Need To Be Successful: + High School Diploma required, college preferred. + Analytical thinking, good written and oral communication skills, excellent at multi-tasking and time management. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to + respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers, or members + of other departments. + Able to calculate figures and amounts such as units of measure, discounts, interest, commissions, common fractions, decimals, proportions, percentages, area, + circumference, and volume. + Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in + situations where only limited standardization exists. + Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form. + Able to define problems: collect data, established facts, and draw valid conclusions. + Proficient personal computer skills, including email, record-keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. About Us: Who we are: Gravotech has been a global leader in direct part marking and laser engraving since 1938.
