Technical Support Specialist, Interoperability

Technical Support Specialists, Interoperability are responsible for implementing, updating, and supporting MEDITECH customers and the various interfaces we use to send and receive administrative and clinical data to and from other vendor systems. As a member of our Client Services team, your job would involve:

Troubleshooting, researching, and solving interface problems and customer issuesCommunicating effectively with industry vendors in a wide range of areasDiagnosing and documenting interface problems and probable causesCommunicating with programming staff to identify, test, and implement solutionsTraining new customers on various interface products to ensure project deadlines are metKeeping up to date on latest industry standards for communicating healthcare informationServing as a project manager for defining, documenting, developing, testing, and delivering an integration solution for various interoperability projects with our customer baseTracking and documenting related milestones in regards to billable projects as part of the project management process. Requirements Bachelor’s or associate’s degree with coursework in a computer programming related field (i.e., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering) and/or related military experience preferredExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong written ability for technical specifications and requirementsExcellent customer service skillsHigh comfort level presenting to and interacting with cross-functional teams of both technical and non-technical staff at all organization levelsStrong customer service experienceIndustry knowledge of quality programs, reporting, and business metrics preferredExperience with statistical analysis, data management, or analytics preferredExperience with data and analytics tools (e.g. SQL, LOGI, Google Analytics etc.) preferredSelf motivated and proven leadership skills in past projects or initiativeAbility to take on multiple projects, conduct webinar training/presentations at the same time and independently recognize areas for further improvement or focusFlexibility with shifting priorities and ability to maintain a wide variety of responsibilities and workloadAbility to work independently and meet deadlines without remindersAbility to work with most demanding/complex customersStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn new industry initiatives

This is a hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
