Are you a talented Engineer with a knack for product support, project management, and analytical thinking?

We're looking for a customer centric Support Specialist to lead product support and project management initiatives supporting the Access Egress Hardware Group at ASSA ABLOY. As a key member to the Electro-mechanical Access Control Team, you will strive to ensure top-notch customer satisfaction and an exceptional customer experience in every interaction.
This position will sit onsite full-time New Haven, CT.
What you will be doing
+ Lead and oversee project initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
+ Track and evaluate project performance to guarantee timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
+ Compile and present comprehensive project status reports to management and stakeholders.
+ Administer and manage employee access requests efficiently.
+ Deliver monthly reports on customer support statistics, highlighting key performance indicators.
+ Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to inform decision-making.
+ Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned to support team objectives.
+ Enhance data collection and management processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.
+ Generate precise wiring diagrams based on customer-provided hardware schedules.
+ Provide exceptional technical support to customers via phone, email, chat, and remote assistance.
+ Deliver prompt and accurate feedback to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and resolution of issues.
+ Maintain detailed records of escalated cases, including actions taken, customer interactions, and resolutions achieved, using MS Dynamics.
What we are looking for
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
+ Seeking a candidate who excels in building partnerships both within the team and with our customers.
+ Demonstrates excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
+ Exhibits a strong attention to detail in all tasks.
+ Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
+ Possesses working knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Jira or Confluence.
+ Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
+ Capable of working under pressure and making decisions to achieve project objectives.
+ Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
+ Technical understanding of Electro-Mechanical and/or Electronic Access Control products preferred.
+ Experience in reviewing technical content preferred.
+ Access control, WIFI, Network and Lock Hardware Industry experience preferred.
