Technical Support Specialist
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Technical Support Specialist responsible for providing on-site technical support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, multimedia equipment, video systems, software applications, network resources, and other technology resources across the clients enterprise. This role supports various services including teleconferencing, distance learning, library automation, networked software, web page implementation, and client information systems. Installation and Setup: * Install and upgrade technology resources and peripherals district-wide * Install network cabling and peripheral devices * Relocate technology and media resources as needed * Install and configure software on systems Technical Support: * Provide technical support for district faculty and staff to ensure efficient use of information technology resources * Assist with technology projects such as required by the end client * Support video operation and distribution systems * Manage rostering, data integration, and data-sharing services with third-party software and providers Equipment Repair and Maintenance: * Diagnose and repair technology resources, including printers, workstations, servers, and media equipment * Provide preventative maintenance as required and maintain accurate service records * Manage asset disposition and maintain associated records, including time and materials for repairs
