We are hiring a Technical Support Specialist - Civil 3D for the AMER EST shift to join our friendly team of tech enthusiasts assisting customers to get the best out of their Civil 3D experience. Do you enjoy solving problems and helping others? Are you passionate about customer experience? Then we would like to hear from you! You will resolve customer issues reported to Autodesk by multiple modalities and other channels and document them in our Knowledge Base. You may also be part of a variety of proactive support activities, presenting webinars, or presenting at company events
Shift Timing – AMER EST (5:00 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST)
Work Location - Bangalore, India, Hybrid working
Reporting - You will report to the Manager, Technical Support
Responsibilities
Resolve customer issues reported to Autodesk by chat, phone, web, online forums, and other channels
Provide prompt and efficient assistance to Autodesk customers on a variety of issues and questions related to product features, usage, and design automation
Research, verify, and document product issues and solutions in short and clear articles for our Knowledge Base or in our internal case management system
Handle and escalate important issues with priority and monitor service level compliance
Document support interactions in a company-wide case management system
Perform root cause analysis, identify issue trends, and maintain support insights
Assist the team on challenging cases and enable cross-team collaboration
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-focused with a passion for providing excellent support.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
Prior experience in technical support or customer service is a plus.
Understanding of BIM standards along with exposure to Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, and ACC would be an added advantage.
Ability to work in flexible working hours/shifts. Current shift will be AMER-EST (5 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST).
Ability to build customer relationships and gain insights into their needs.
Ability to identify opportunities that benefit our customers and build solutions to meet their expectations.
