We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role requires travel to various locations, including Montauk, East Hampton, Southampton, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, Cutchogue, and Westhampton Beach, to provide on-site technical support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring seamless IT operations, and delivering exceptional service to our team members.  This opening requires in person work in the office for the following: 5 days per week Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site technical support to users at various locations, including Montauk, East Hampton, Southampton, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, Cutchogue, and Westhampton Beach. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications. Document and track issues using a ticketing system. Escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams as needed. Offer training and guidance to users on IT best practices and tools. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company software and hardware.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; may consider candidates without a degree given applicable work experience. 1+ years of experience in a customer centric business environment. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and travel to various locations. Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus. Physically able to bend, stoop, climb, walk, and lift & carry heavy objects (up to 20 lbs).
