Technical Support Technician (F/H)
Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an experienced refrigeration technician, based in Danfoss Trévoux site, who will be responsible for providing world class technical support for the Danfoss Product Portfolio for Cooling division.

In this position, you will work closely with Regional Sales Managers and provide technical support for Danfoss products, related to the Cooling segment, to our customers: wholesalers and small OEMs in France. You will be part of a South West regional team.

You will provide expertise on components / systems, problem-solving skills and general support in the selection and application of Danfoss products.

Job Responsibilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:

• Provide relevant technical support to customers and sales for existing and future business. Act as main point of contact for customer for quality topics, mostly for application related discussions. Ensure products are being properly handled/installed at the customer factory level

• Participate in/Perform product and training presentations including new product introductions to sales and customers.

• Handle specific customer request with other Danfoss Cooling department (engineering, lab, TPM, logistic…)

• Identify the critical sales factors from a technical standpoint, in customer projects and propose/drive activities to achieve them

• Maintain and cultivate customer relationships with emphasis on key decision makers

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics or other related fields. 3-5+ years of experience in HVAC/R

Good knowledge of vapor compression systems, heat transfer process and technologies of the products. Good knowledge of compressor technology, condensing units and related applications. General knowledge of Heat exchanger design/operation with specific knowledge to BPHE and MCHE. Good experience in electronics component application like: unit controller, EXV controller, sensors, etc

Customer focused – coordination and communication skills. Relationship builder and team player skills in a global environment

Excellent command of French language. Good command of English language. Italian and/or Spanish language speaking would be a nice to have

Willing to travel occasionally within France
