Your Role

Product Systems Project Lead is responsible to lead a team of System Engineers assigned to a development project, performing design, development and support of existing and new products developmentLead a team of systems engineers assigned to the development. This role is in particular responsible for:Estimation and planning of the systems resources required for the development of the electronic control unitsCreation and maintenance of the System Software Development Plan (SSDP)Prioritization, planning and tracking of the necessary systems activities with the objective to meet the project goals in regards to project timing, costs and qualityThe interface to the customer for all technical questions in the system scope of the developed productManaging and tracking all competencies in regards to analysis and clarification, evaluation of change requests and resolution of system issuesEnsuring on time completion of systems work products both with regard to customer milestones and APTIV internal milestones related to APTIVs product development process (PDP)Ensuring that system activities comply with APTIV processes and methodsReporting of requirement status and status of systems activitiesBuild & maintain business relationships with our customers’ engineering teamsCooperation in the continuous improvement of systems processes and methods

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Engineering Undergraduate Degree required, Master’s Degree Preferred, Business or Engineering (Computer Science /Electricals/Electronics/ Instrumentation).#EXP[8-12]Support the project team with detailed knowledge of specific customer expectations and requirements (e.g. customer standards) and continuously expand this knowledgeSupport the start center activities during quotation phase Authority over all Systems Engineering decision points in projectSystem Software Development Plan creation and modificationsSupport the release planning and the creation of release and delivery documentation
