Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for a Technical Systems Analyst to work as Business Process Mining Analyst using Celonis.

The Business Process Mining Analyst will play a pivotal role in implementing, scaling, and optimizing Business Process Mining (BPM) initiatives using Celonis across the organization. This role is critical to driving the successful adoption and maturity of Celonis to meet evolving business needs, accelerate time to value, and deliver measurable operational impact.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with business process owners, subject matter experts, and IT teams to uncover inefficiencies, design data-driven solutions, and support automation and performance improvement initiatives.

The primary location for this role is Bengaluru, India.

What You Will Do

Core Responsibilities

Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand operational goals and translate them into actionable Celonis use cases and technical requirements.Identify and integrate data sources; develop performant, scalable SQL queries to support process mining and analytics.Connect Celonis with on-premise and cloud-based ERP and IT systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow).Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the Celonis platform to enable end-to-end process visibility and insights.Design, build, and maintain process dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports tailored to business needs.Conduct workshops and working sessions to gather requirements, present findings, and align on next steps.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver Celonis use cases and dashboards on time.Promote a data-driven culture by enabling self-service analytics and training business users on Celonis capabilities.

Operational Responsibilities

Document the definition, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and integration of new or enhanced Celonis solutions.Participate in testing activities including integration, end-to-end process, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Support issue resolution by analyzing root causes and collaborating with technical teams to implement fixes.Maintain documentation such as process maps, solution designs, data models, and user guides.Support governance, compliance, and quality assurance activities related to BPM initiatives.Participate in interviews, meetings, and workshops to define and design BPM solutions for Albemarle.Monitor Celonis system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.

What You Bring

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience with Celonis EMS.5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or business analytics.Celonis certifications (e.g., Celonis Analyst, Data Engineer, or Solution Architect).Strong expertise in SQL, PQL, data analysis, and data visualization techniques.Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing/lake architectures, and data modeling.Familiarity with core business processes (e.g., Source-To-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report) and ERP systems, especially SAP S/4 HANA.Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for continuous learning.

Preferred:

Proficiency with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, SAP Solution Manager and Freshworks.Experience with scripting and ETL languages (e.g., Python) for data transformation or automation.Experience with AI copilot/agent developments in Business Process Mining platform.Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
