We are looking for a talented Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training programs that enhance the technical capabilities of our clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical fields, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others learn and grow. You will be responsible for our Hatch covers product line related training for internal and external customers globally.

 

While candidates based in Finland or Sweden are preferred, we enthusiastically welcome applicants from any location within Europe!

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

Design and develop training courses and materials for the responsible product(s) by different technical levels Plan and conduct training to internal and external customers globally (classroom, online, on equipment) Assist/Develop and implement modern and advanced training tools for training be more effective  Review and constantly improve training content, materials and methods Execute certification processes of service personnel according to OPM   Register and maintain technical competence data of service engineers properly and correctly in the system Develop and train local frontline trainers related to responsible product line, as needed. What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

Academic degree in the fields of engineering on Bachelor level or equivalent.

 

Experience

Minimum five years in shipbuilding or marine industry or relevant business/product experience Technical background or knowledge of responsible MacGregor products Experience in a technical / commercial role in service environment is preferred Experience in field service jobs is an advantage.

 

Competencies

Good technical skills and product knowledge of the responsible product line Understanding of technical and operational use of the marine & offshore equipment Knowledge of classification societies requirements, service process and documentation standards Pedagogical skills and ability to transfer know-how/experience (technical writing/presentation) will be an asset Ability to prepare and develop training courses and materials Ability in planning, coordination and completion of courses, including experience in instructing Ability to work in an international business environment and in a matrix organisation.
