Technical Trainer

The global training team plays an integral part in customer success by imparting product knowledge and guiding class participants in becoming competent using and configuring the software to support their business needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic technical trainer to enrich our global training organization.


Key Responsibilities

Deliver instructor-led technical training, in a remote online setting, to subscribers, customers, partners, and employees Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials including student workbooks, exercises, and labs Follow process for requesting/provisioning training cloud server environment for each class Contribute to and collaborate on training strategy and roadmap Support the development and expansion of online, self-teaching materials Assist with developing a certification plan for training class participants Interact with Product Development, Consulting Services, and Technical Support to ensure current product knowledge, and provide product feedback Be able to travel globally 25%


Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Technical Discipline, Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience) Must have 3+ years of experience delivering classroom and/or remote training to technical audiences (PLM software experience a plus) Must have strong written and verbal communications skills with an ability to work independently or in a team environment Motivated by a fast paced, team environment Proficiency with Objected Oriented programming such as C#, C++, Visual Basic or JavaScript Understanding of Debugging Concepts Working knowledge of relational databases (we use SQL Server) Experience with Web Development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, .NET, RESTful APIs Familiarity with Agile and SAFe development processes Working knowledge of continuous integration tools (we use GIT and Jenkins) Experience with enterprise software installations and virtual platforms (we use VMware)
