Technical Trainer II
Experis IT ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading **Health Insurance Company** in the **Columbia, SC - Onsite** for a **Technical Trainer II** role to assist their team. This is an on-site role. **Industry: Health Insurance Company** **Title:** **Technical Trainer II** **Location: Columbia, SC - Onsite** **Duration:** **6 months** **Shift: M-F 8am-5pm** **Description** Duties: Develop documentation for custom applications and packaged applications, using a variety of mediums as needed. Deliver training to a variety of audiences. Identify needed accesses and modifications for the training system environment. •25% Create and deliver training and development programs to all levels of end-users and IT professionals. •25% Code, test, and debug programs specifically for training. •25% Work closely with both I/t and the business to understand system and training needs for applications and packages supported. •25% Participate in the training needs assessment process and vendor selection. Skills: Required Skills and Abilities: In-depth knowledge and experience in relevant productivity tools and standard packages. Understand appropriate development methodologies. Understand and apply adult learning principles. Design training programs, classes, workshops, computer-based training, and online help. Understand the complex technical environment of the organization. In-depth knowledge of systems, applications, and programming languages. Required Software and Other Tools: Classroom and standard office equipment. Work Environment: Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer. Education: Required Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree Computer Information Systems/Technology, Instructional Technology, Education, or other job related field or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Education or other job related degree Required Work Experience: 2 years Training experience, including I/T course development and delivery, and 3 years I/T technical experience with a Bachelors degree or equivalent, or 2 years Training experience, including I/T course development and delivery and 1 year I/T technical experience with a Masters degree.
