THE WORK

In this position you will be part of a team tasked with the development of instructional materials for Aegis International Programs. The target audience is Junior and Senior Naval Officers assigned to various roles in their respective Aegis programs or Shipboard organizations. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to; development of instructor led training and course content, identifying student learning objectives; preparation of course syllabi, lesson plans, testing, development of student manuals and the evaluation and quality assurance of training materials and procedures. Analyzes and makes recommendations for revisions of curriculum based on system upgrades to software and equipment design

Basic Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Candidate will have experience as an instructor or curriculum developer.
Have the ability to create and update lesson plans, trainee guides, and presentation materials.
Be familiar with NAVEDTRA 131 naval training standards and instructional system design.
Instruct in both classroom and laboratory environments.
Aegis experience as Senior enlisted or Junior Officer with technical and employment knowledge of the Aegis weapon systems including, CIC operations, signals intelligence and Combat System Training philosophy as it applies to Aegis Programs in support of Combat System operations planning.
Be self-motivated, self-starter, reliable to work independently and as a team member and be willing to learn new equipment and systems to develop comprehensive training programs.
Desired Skills:
Familiar with operations on an Aegis Cruiser or Destroyer.
Aegis Tactical Combat Systems Training Team experience.
Qualified as Master Training Specialist.
BMD experience.
AWS NECs: (1337 SPY Tech), 1387 (SPY-1 Baseline 9C BMD 5.0), or 1388 (SPY-1B Baseline 9A), 1340 (AWS Supervisor), 1350 (AWS Supervisor BL 6), 1356 (CSMM), 1360 (AWS BL 7), 1380 (AWS BL 9), To Instruct Foreign Military personnel on the Aegis Weapons System.
Knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel programs.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
