Come join our team and help us transform the future of Mobility! + State-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and processes + Safe and inspiring work environment for our associates + Skills training available in areas such as Robotics, Lasers, and Vision Systems + Opportunities for continued professional development and growth + External training and travel opportunities available + Empowerment through Associate engagement and incentive programs **Bosch-Charleston** is ISO14001 and VPP certified; CO2 Neutral since 2020 Recent Awards: + Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies + Forbes’ America’s Best Large Employers + Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for Diversity + America’s Best Employers for Veterans **BOSCH** is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives • FIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) • AWIM (A World In Motion) **Job Description** **Job Description** This posting is for a technical trainer / expert for ChP Training Academy, which includes the following tasks and functional responsibilities:. + Lead training classes for advanced technicians on a regular basis + Support training class scheduling, training location planning, and attendance recording + Develop comprehensive expert level training curriculums for ChP technicians + Develop and document training qual cards and evaluations + Create comprehensive training materials and aids to support training classes + Utilize various training methodologies (e.g., workshops, e-learning, hands-on sessions) to enhance the learning experience + Lead "hands-on" training/ mentoring at the trainees workplace/ line + Define, develop, and support training aids and stations within Training Academy + Create training simulations using existing training aids & stations + Investigate new training aids & stations to match the changing technology in ChP as needed + Support MOEs to maintain associate competency matrices, and define trainees for different curriculums + Provide individual trainee performance evaluations & feedback to leadership + Act as mentor for trainees after successful completion of training classes/ program + Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, and make continuous improvements + Support KPI tracking to quantify training impact on individual value streams + Define & complete any required continuing education to maintain "expert" level knowledge on technologies + Collaborate with OEMs & other Bosch locations to ensure "best practices" + Lead focused "task force" style improvement cycles in different value streams with trainees **Qualifications** **Qualifications** The qualified applicant must: + Bachelor of Science Degree, Engineering preferred + Preferred minimum 5 years' experience in relevant field + Expert level knowledge in at least one of the following technologies (Lasers, Robots, Vision, Torque, Press, PLC/Software) + Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences + Be comfortable leading training classes on your own and providing feedback to trainees & management + Ability to adapt training methods to meet trainees needs + Be structured and systematic in his / her work approach + Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization + Be adept in systematic problem solving and troubleshooting (8D, 5-Why, Shainin, etc.) + Strong documentation & organization skills + Be willing and able to travel internationally Strong augmentation of the candidate profile would include experience with: + Controls engineering + Process engineering + Previous training experience **Additional Information** All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
