This posting is for a technical trainer / expert for ChP Training Academy, which includes the following tasks and functional responsibilities:.

Lead training classes for advanced technicians on a regular basisSupport training class scheduling, training location planning, and attendance recordingDevelop comprehensive expert level training curriculums for ChP techniciansDevelop and document training qual cards and evaluationsCreate comprehensive training materials and aids to support training classesUtilize various training methodologies (e.g., workshops, e-learning, hands-on sessions) to enhance the learning experienceLead "hands-on" training/ mentoring at the trainees workplace/ lineDefine, develop, and support training aids and stations within Training AcademyCreate training simulations using existing training aids & stationsInvestigate new training aids & stations to match the changing technology in ChP as neededSupport MOEs to maintain associate competency matrices, and define trainees for different curriculumsProvide individual trainee performance evaluations & feedback to leadershipAct as mentor for trainees after successful completion of training classes/ program Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, and make continuous improvementsSupport KPI tracking to quantify training impact on individual value streamsDefine & complete any required continuing education to maintain "expert" level knowledge on technologiesCollaborate with OEMs & other Bosch locations to ensure "best practices"  Lead focused "task force" style improvement cycles in different value streams with trainees

Qualifications

Qualifications

The qualified applicant must:

Bachelor of Science Degree,  Engineering preferredPreferred minimum 5 years' experience in relevant fieldExpert level knowledge in at least one of the following technologies (Lasers, Robots, Vision, Torque, Press, PLC/Software)Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiencesBe comfortable leading training classes on your own and providing feedback to trainees & managementAbility to adapt training methods to meet trainees needsBe structured and systematic in his / her work approachCommunicate effectively at all levels of the organizationBe adept in systematic problem solving and troubleshooting (8D, 5-Why, Shainin, etc.)Strong documentation & organization skillsBe willing and able to travel internationally

 

Strong augmentation of the candidate profile would include experience with:

Controls engineeringProcess engineeringPrevious training experience
