Technical Tribe Lead

About the Job

As a Technical Tribe Lead you define and drive the Customer Service Portal tribe technology strategy (product, architecture, processed, roadmap) in line with the Sales business area. Further, you ensure a successful delivery of the technology portfolio of the tribe.

Technical Tribe Lead manages the successful Customer Service Portal delivery (product, architecture, processes) and drive the improvement of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline in the Tribes. Together with the Agile Tribe Lead, Technical Tribe Lead is responsible for clarifying priorities on functional and non-functional requirements with Product Owners, which are crucial to maintaining the Tribe’s high product quality or contribute to the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Technical Tribe Lead enables tech synchronization across shared tech platforms within the Tribe. Technical Tribe Lead collaborates in defining and communicating release strategy and quality assurance guidelines for the product. TTL drives continuous improvement initiatives, foster innovation and help remove impediments in their Tribe.

 

What you do

Setting vision, defining the strategy, targets, roadmap, KPIs and managing technical delivery of the tribe. Ensure and improve zero impact outages strategy in the area and remove technical debt. Together with the Tribe Lead the TTL is accountable for financials aspects of the tribe. Setting the scope, distributing, and prioritizing conflicting requirements across squads. Setting the correct organizational structure to successfully deliver products and evolve technology across the tribe. Supporting the Product Owners, Agile Masters, and Senior Engineer and managing interdependencies across squads in the tribe. Align with OEs on technical requirements. Align with other Tribe Technical Leads, manage technical dependencies, and enable tech synchronization across shared tech platforms. Acting as a spokesperson for the tribe on product-, customer-, and provider-related topics to area and upper management, and ensuring congruence of messages. Shaping and evolving the practice of Tribe Technical Leadership. Strong financial understanding and management of change and run budgets

 

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in leading insurance services technology teams Proven track record in managing international teams Proven experience in technology strategy Experience with working with Agile and DevOps delivery Proven experience in developing engineering capability and effectiveness in a team. Experience with large scale complex IT system design and delivery. Experience in management and negotiation of vendor contracts. Hands-on attitude with great abilities to decompose complex system landscapes Knowledge on modern software architecture (e.g. cloud native, container, microservice architecture). Good knowledge of Allianz technology landscape
