You will create documentation for our cloud platform, and will use your passion for customer success to make sure users get the information they need to make their jobs easier. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, strong technical skills, a hands-on approach, and a self-motivated attitude. Expect to work in a fast-changing, flexible environment, where cross-geo collaboration is key.  Key responsibilitiesWork closely with developers, product managers, and user experience designers to understand our products and target audiencesPlan and design targeted information experiences for our business and technical users in short release cyclesDevelop content in various forms, including online content, UI text, and contextual assistanceCreate technical content for our cloud platform, workflows, user interfaces, and APIsParticipate in initiatives to make our content more impactful and relevant to our different audiencesRequired skills and experienceAt least 3 of experience creating content for enterprise software applications Excellent writing and communication skillsKnowledge of content development principles, theories, and concepts, including information architecture and information deliveryUnderstanding of web applications and cloud platformsAbility to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesAbility to get information from subject matter experts and learn by experimentingWillingness to work in a distributed global team environmentBachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or other related fields, or comparable experiencePreferably, you also have some of the following:Good understanding of structured authoring and markup languages such as DITA and MarkdownExperience creating documentation designed around developer use casesExperience working in Git or in a Component Content Management SystemExperience working in an Agile environmentExperience working with Pendo or similar onboarding toolsCopywriting or UI writing experienceExperience creating different forms of user assistance, such as videos, walk-throughs, and tutorialsAbout the teamWe create and publish content that helps our users successfully deploy, customize, and use our applications.
