Job Description:
The Technical Writer will create and update work instructions and SOPs in partnership with engineering teams. They'll play a significant role in a digitization and enhancement project by moving physical documents into digital formats while improving and optimizing through connection to additional digital information. This role will also support engineering teams with change orders and ensure documentation packages are updated as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Use Frame Work software to create and update work instructions and SOPs per aerospace standards/guidelines (S1000D, ATA iSpec2200, ASD-STE100)Create and revise: component manuals, vendor manuals, repair manuals, service bulletins, etc.Create digital versions of existing documentationWork with engineering teams to process change orders to ensure technical documentation is updated and accurateQualifications:
Must have:
Experience creating and updating work instructions, SOPs and other technical documentsExperience writing/authoring using tools like: Arbor Text, Frame Maker, Iso Draw, Tech Illustrator, etc.Nice to have:
Aerospace experience preferredKnowledge of electrical systems highly preferredKnowledge in ATA iSpec 2200, S100D and ASD-STE100 StandardsAbout Actalent
