Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for Application Teams.
Technical Writer with 5+ Years of Experience
Responsibilities:
• Main focus will be to document user access roles for all of VA ABC’s information systems. This is to include both COTS and internal applications
• Follow a standardized way to document our system access
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with others.
• Confer with customer representatives in business units, audit department and development teams.
• Interview business users to become familiar with business processes so they can be incorporated into easy to follow user documentation
Requirements:
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word and Visio. HTML experience is a plus.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible and have the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Highly motivated individual able to grasp complex software and learn quickly.
• A sample of prior work must be presented at interview. Please attach a writing sample with the resume if possible.
