We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to design, develop, write, edit, and implement complex technical or scientific materials. This includes producing reports, manuals, briefs, and related publications in print or electronic formats. The Technical Writer ensures all documentation is accurate, complete, and adheres to editorial, government, and organizational standards for quality, graphics, structure, and style. The role also involves contributing to the establishment of style guidelines and standards for both textual and illustrative content.
Responsibilities Analyze production, developmental, and experimental activities to understand operating procedures and technical details.Study and interpret blueprints, flowcharts, sketches, drawings, parts lists, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and communicate technology, procedures, and production details effectively.Organize material and complete writing assignments in alignment with established standards for clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.Assist in the layout and design of materials for publication.Coordinate typing, duplication, and distribution of completed materials as needed.Develop additional written materials, including speeches, articles, and public or employee relations releases.Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.Core CompetenciesKnowledge:
Proficient understanding of technical writing and drawing practices, including tools such as Visio and PowerPoint.Excellent writing skills and a strong grasp of industry standards, company processes, and customer needs.Problem-Solving:

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Active DoD Interim Secret Clearance - required at minimum. Strong candidates may be processed for a DoD Secret Clearance. Proficiency in technical writing and drawing tools such as Visio and PowerPoint.Security+ Certification (preferred). Posted Min Pay Rate USD $60,000.00/Yr. Posted Max Pay Rate USD $72,000.00/Yr.
