We are seeking a Technical Writer I to join our team and create high-quality, user-friendly documentation that simplifies complex technical concepts. As a Technical Writer I, you will transform technical information into engaging and accessible materials such as user manuals, quick start guides, product inserts, and technical graphics. Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts, you will ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with industry standards. Your work will empower customers, enhance the user experience, and support Hayward’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities Develop and update technical documentation, including installation and operation manuals, owner’s guides, and product insert sheets for American and European markets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, and Lab Technicians, to gather information and create accurate content.Edit and review documentation for consistency, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.Create and refine technical graphics, illustrations, and visual aids for diverse audiences.Manage updates to website links for revised and newly created documents.Partner with translation providers to create multilingual versions of publications.Continuously improve documentation processes and templates to enhance efficiency and quality. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.Experience creating, editing, and converting technical graphics (both raster and vector).Familiarity with content management and version control systems is a plus.Knowledge of pool products, equipment, and systems is beneficial but not required.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
