LATTEART is the agency's implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). LATTEART is a series of applications that fill in various gaps in the agency's RMF needs to include System Registration, Exemption Tracking, Patch Management, and System Monitoring. System Monitoring makes up the bulk of the work LATTEART does on a day-to-day basis. However, this distribution of applications, in conjunction with external partner apps results in difficulties for users navigating the RMF process. The current process forces users to jump from website to website filling out different pieces of information. LATTEART is tasked with creating a unified RMF infrastructure that can hold the entire process in one location.

Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.

Writes and edits technical documentation for all the project’s hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.

Creates code documentation for software; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.

Responsibilities:

Document process improvement and engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Assist the teams with managing team websites and knowledge sharing. Develop business methods, identify best practices, and create and assess performance documents. Serves as a coordinator between multiple scrum teams to support team presentations and demonstrations. Document and track requirements and assist in driving them to completion.

Qualifications:

Document initiatives for process improvements.

Ensure style guides are followed in compliance with customer and company proposed standards.

Work with the customer and developers to document new and existing business processes.

Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks.

Develop and maintain best practices to meet changing business needs.

Education:

8 years of experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

A master’s degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience, reducing the requirement to 6 years of experience.

4 years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Desired:

Ability to brief senior-level management on the status of the project.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
