Job Title: Technical Writer Job Description This role supports engineering teams by creating clear customer-facing product manuals, assembly instructions, and repair procedures. Responsibilities + Create clear and comprehensive product manuals, assembly instructions, and repair procedures. + Collaborate with engineering teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy. + Develop technical documentation for hardware manufacturing. + Utilize SolidWorks Composer to create images + Write operations and maintenance procedures, particularly for large systems + Read and interpret engineering drawings, both mechanical and electrical. Essential Skills + Experience with DITA XML + Proficiency in technical writing with 5+ years experience + Familiarity with SolidWorks Composer + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (mechanical and electrical). + Strong writing skills for technical documentation. + Experience in hardware and electronics documentation. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
