Technical Writer

Summary:

We're looking for a talented Hardware Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating clear and concise documentation that makes complex technical information accessible to diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities: :

Work closely with the engineering team, production and technical support and write clear and understandable documents explaining the equipment maintenance and installation procedures;Proofread and edit documentation to ensure consistency of language and style, as well as the correct application of document templates;Provide input on documentation design, templates and implementation;Produce screenshots, flowcharts, and other graphics;Attend and actively contribute to scrum team meetings;Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Health, Safety & Environment and report any non-conformity detected in this area;Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of the Quality Management System and other Management Systems that the company may adopt;Ensure the confidentiality of the information available within the scope of the activity, as contractually defined.

About the ideal candidate:

Ability to write documentation to different audiences - users, maintenance technicians, installation technicians;Ability to explain complex concepts understandably and clearly;Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail;Excellent written and spoken English (C2 level). Understand the differences between British and American English;Ability to explain complex maintenance procedures and prepare the drawings for step-by-step guides;Knowledge of how to prepare 2D drawings from 3D files for maintenance and installation documents;Ability to read electric schematics.
