You must have an active TS/SCI clearance. Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Technical Writer to support our federal contracting efforts. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation that supports IT and cybersecurity projects. The ideal candidate will have experience writing SOPs, installation guides, and technical manuals while also assisting with proposal writing when needed. This role requires attention to detail, strong research skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation. What You'll Do: + Develop, write, and edit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical manuals, user guides, and installation documentation. + Work closely with engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity teams to document technical processes and ensure accuracy. + Create clear and well-structured installation and configuration guides for IT systems and software deployments. + Maintain version control and ensure all documentation is updated and aligned with industry standards. + Assist in developing and editing technical proposals, white papers, and responses to federal RFPs to support business development efforts. + Conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation. + Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and branding across all documents. + Support knowledge management efforts by organizing and maintaining document repositories.
