Technical Writer
Description We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to become a part of our client's team, onsite in Phoenix, Arizona. The selected individual will play a crucial role in advancing their energy efficiency projects by supporting their sales team from the initial client meetings to the final stages of project completion. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity and is an avenue to significantly impact our client's customer projects while relishing the independence and accountability associated with the role. Responsibilities: • Work closely with the Team Lead in developing RFQ/P responses • Create engaging project presentations and proposals • Stay informed about our products, services, and the manufacturers we represent • Keep up with the latest trends in the Performance Contracting Industry • Collaborate with various departments to streamline input and coordinate with the Marketing Manager to improve our overall brand image • Manage and maintain a database of project templates and proposal elements • Use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Marketing for document review and creative writing tasks • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate execution of both written and verbal instructions • Show excellent time management skills and maintain a detail-oriented demeanor even under pressure • Show proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Requirements Qualifications include: - Prefer a 4-year degree in the area of sustainability, business or engineering though demonstrated experience in critical skills of the position will be considered. - Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated technical writing experience - Excellent time management skills - Professional demeanor and strong work ethic - Ability to perform well under pressure effectively meet multiple deadlines - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop) - Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately - A portfolio or examples of past proposals and marketing documents Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
