Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. This role involves creating, updating, and managing technical documentation to support our products, processes, and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical concepts, excellent writing skills, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create user manuals, service guides, assembly instructions, and training materials for refuse truck systems and components Ensure documents are accurate, well-structured, and tailored to the target audience (e.g., operators, maintenance personnel, engineers).Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and manufacturing staff to gather technical information. Review technical specifications, CAD drawings, and schematics to ensure documentation aligns with product designs. Standardize Communication: Develop templates, style guides, and standardized formats for documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Visual Content Creation: Collaborate with graphic designers or use design tools to integrate diagrams, charts, and other visuals into documents. Take photos or create illustrations for step-by-step guides. Document Control and Updates: Maintain version control of all documents and update materials based on design changes, feedback, or new product releases. Manage digital and physical repositories for technical documentation. Support Training and Product Launches: Assist in the creation of training content and presentations for internal teams and customers. Participate in product launch activities to ensure the availability of user-friendly technical resources.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or heavy equipment industries. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to interpret technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences. Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, FrameMaker) and familiarity with CAD software or 3D modeling tools is a plus. Strong organizational and project management abilities.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
What is the overall
deductible?
$750 person/$1,500 family per calendar
year.
Generally, you must pay all the costs from providers up to the deductible amount
before this plan begins to pay. If you have other family members on the plan, each family member must meet their own individual deductible until the total amount of
deductible expenses paid by all family members meets the overall family deductible.
Are there services covered
before you meet your deductible?
Yes. Well-child care, preventive care, innetwork
prosthetic limbs and services
subject to copayments are covered before you meet your deductible.
This plan covers some items and services even if you haven’t yet met the deductible amount. But a copayment or coinsurance may apply. For example, this plan covers certain preventive services without cost sharing and before you meet

Are there other deductibles
for specific services?
Yes. $100 person/$200 family per calendar year for drug card, which does not apply to Tier 1 Rx. Drug card deductible does not
apply to immunizations. There are no other specific deductibles.
You must pay all of the costs for these services up to the specific deductible amount
before this plan begins to pay for these services.
What is the out-of-pocket
limit for this plan?
$2,500 person/$5,000 family per calendar year. The In-Network health and drug card
out-of-pocket maximum amounts accumulate together.
The out-of-pocket limit is the most you could pay in a year for covered services. If
you have other family members in this plan, they have to meet their own out-ofpocket
limits until the overall family out-of-pocket limit has been met.
What is not included in the out-of-pocket limit?
Premiums, balance-billed charges, and
health care this plan doesn’t cover.
Even though you pay these expenses, they don’t count toward the out-of-pocket limit.
