A week in the life of a Technical Writer I:

Support Members with problems concerning the ASM program.  Assist users with CAC card registration. Transfer members ASM accounts from one Command to another, either via PCS or TAD. Process users ASM Training Jacket request for those who no longer has access to ASM, and send to the user via DoD Safe. Release of personnel from ASM units which include ZZNON ASM, ZZRetired, and ZZSeparated, so that they may be checked into their newly assigned commands. Assist users with ASM pin and password resets, and reactivation of the users ASM accounts. ASM Helpdesk tickets are entered and tracked via JIRA, which assigns a ticket number to the requestor for tracking / follow up.
