Pay: $55 - $65 Hourly

Summary:

The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.

Job Responsibilities:

Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminologyMaintain records and files of work and revisionsConfer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication

Purpose of the Team:

Team is ESG for CESI environmental sustainability government. Team that gets efficiency data of how much water and power they use in the data center. Work with legal entities and to show how efficient they are in the world.

Key Projects:

Need a lot of documentation done.Need to understand persona of a document – go into a room and speak with a person and put a document together. Have to feel comfortable to speaking to high level leaders to collect information and put documents together.Have point of contacts where they can receive examples

Candidate Requirements:

Years of Experience: 8-10 Overall Years of Experience requiredDisqualifiers: Personality is a big factor for this role. The Sponsor noted that the candidate cannot be meek/shy - they need someone comfortable whose able to talk to anyone and ask questions to get information to then write the documentation required.

Top 3 Hard Skills & YOE:

Technical Writing (8+ YOE)Ability to write & create persona documents (7+ YOE)Legal Writing Experience (1+ YOE - does not need to have a ton of experience in this, but would need working knowledge)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
