What you`ll do:
We are looking for an experienced User Assistance Architect to take on a central role in advising and enabling the creation of multi-faceted content to bring about a well-structured and cohesive user experience.
The Role:
• Research, map, and validate user journeys for our products with an emphasis of how language can increase adoption and improve onboarding.
• Serve as a content advocate for multiple projects, defining deliverables and providing definitive advice and interpretation of situations.
• Communicate messages relevant for project in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to team.
• Communicate clear functional requirements and targets.
• Effectively settle different functional perspectives.
• Find common ground for cooperation within the product UA team.
• Define terminology (simple, consistent, and conforms to industry standards).
• Share in-depth knowledge and experience with direct team to enable decision-making.
• Work on complex technical projects or business issues requiring strong technical knowledge.
• Research and design knowledge architecture concepts and processes.
• Apply expert knowledge of customer requirements and product architecture, and consider potential interdependencies between products when designing UA deliverables and innovation concepts.
• Lead user assistance projects, serve as a SME for development/User Assistance initiatives, and help mentor team members.
What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, UX Design, Computer Science, or any other related experience
• Completion of SAP’s User Assistance - Design Information Architecture training
• Experience as a Doc Lead
• Extensive experience in information development, technical writing, support, or other forms of content development
• Ideally first-language proficiency in English, or excellent written and spoken skills in English
• Experience in serving as a content SME within a Development group
• Extensive experience in technical writing along with experience in documenting end-2-end user experiences
• The ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner
• Outstanding communication, writing, and grammar skills
• The ability to work within tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality
• Flexibility and a readiness to communicate with other team members
• Excellent organizational skills
