Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Technician, Health IT for the College of Nursing - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain both physical and virtual machines assigned to College of Nursing faculty across various campuses (primarily Boca and Davie).

Maintain Windows 2016 servers and utilize tools such as Active Directory, Group Policy Management, SCCM, and Intune to manage systems.

Provide support for the college's clinical software, eValue.

Deploy and configure new MS Windows computers for departmental use.

Map network devices during new installations.

Provide technical support for College of Nursing computers, equipment, and personal devices.

Monitor the internal help desk ticketing system and respond to support requests.

Maintain and update an inventory of computing devices and equipment.

Manage digital signage boards and provide IT support for college events.

Research and recommend IT products and solutions.

Troubleshoot, service, and maintain laser printers and copiers.

Manage mobile devices (cell phones, tablets) for the College of Nursing.

Support FAU’s LMS/Canvas platform.

Provide IT support at various partner sites and campuses.

Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma and one year of IT hardware and software experience required.

A valid Driver's License required.

Verbal and written communication skills required.

Salary:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
