OBJECTIVE:
Performs tasks necessary to provide quality irrigation services.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Many of the job responsibilities will be conducted in exterior areas of the operation. Activities will be carried out in year-round weather conditions. Work will be conducted in front and back stage environments. Work hours will fluctuate depending on projects, daily tasks and emergency situations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting Develops, designs and installs new irrigation systems Maintains, repairs and adjusts existing irrigation systems Manages irrigation operations to assure proper utilization of water resources Cleans and maintains tools and equipment Uses a variety of tools, both hand and powered, to accomplish tasks Utilizes department apprentices to perform tasks and provide them guidance and training to further their knowledge in the trade Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations Understands and complies with Facilities Department and Casino policies and procedures Participates in related training programs provided by the organization

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate with supervisor.
Ability to follow directions.
Familiar with irrigation concepts, practices and procedures.
Ability to perform troubleshooting exercises including voltage check, continuity check and Ohms check.
Understands controller programming.
Understands water management.
Understands irrigation components, repairs and controller.
Friendly and courteous personality.
Able to work under general supervision.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED desired
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years experience in the field or in a related area
