Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties:Repair and maintenance of light industrial manufacturing equipment including but not limited to CNC mills, lathes, lasers, hydraulic presses, saws etc.Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, and preventative maintenance of production machinery and plant facilityPerform basic mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturing machinery and plant facility.Complete scheduled tasking for preventive and predictive maintenance program.Assist tooling department with tooling repair and maintenance related to manufacturing equipment.Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment.Perform basic PLC equipment repair and troubleshootingCapable of basic electrical system installationsVisually inspect and test machinery and equipmentListen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctionsDiscuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workersWork with others to diagnose problemsRepair and maintain physical structure of the establishmentDismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired partsClean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machineryInstall and repair electrical apparatuses, such as transformers and wiring, along with electrical components of machinery and equipmentLay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and their related hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentRepair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipmentSet up and operate machine tools such as late, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and toolsOperate a cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal partsWatts in it for you:
