About the role:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be a part of a team responsible for supporting and safely maintaining Barry Callebaut equipment to produce the highest quality product. In performing the above function, GMP practices and HACCP requirements are to be satisfied.

About You:
High school diploma, Technical school preferred; Minimum of 5 years mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food processing; Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment, i.e. pumps, seals, bearings, blowers, etc.; Proficiency in troubleshooting automated processes, installing and repairing new and existing equipment, and responding to machine and equipment issues in all areas of the facility; Proficiency in pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting and PLCs Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical power transmission systems, i.e. chain drives, gearboxes; Ability to read and follow blue prints, drawings and schematics; Intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Google Office, etc.; Lifting up to 60 lbs. and standing and walking for long periods of time; Must be able to work from an elevated platform; Must be able to work independently, follow through and complete tasks, and handle a multi-task workload; Must be able to work as part of a team with little to no supervision;
