**Title:** Technician, NDT III **Location:** United States-Texas-Grand Prairie **Job Number:** 17186 **Summary:** Reporting to the Quality Management Supervisor the Level II Technician will be performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. Level II Technicians are qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Level II Technicians are thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I Technicians. Level II Technicians organize, and report results of NDT. Hours of work: 8 hours per day (may be longer as conditions demand), 5 days per week with optional Saturday schedule. Pay is hourly, subject to straight time and overtime. (more than 40 hours in a given week). Job is located in Grand Prairie Texas. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Conduct NDT testing and inspections to detect product defects and identify areas for improvement. + Ensure that all testing and inspections are conducted in accordance with industry standards and regulations. + Develop and execute quality assurance plans and processes for improving product quality. + Monitor and evaluate process performance and identify opportunities for improvement. + Analyze test results and identify root causes of product defects. + Provide technical assistance to other teams and support the development of new products. + Develop and maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection activities. + Collaborate with other teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. **CORE COMPETENCIES** To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: **Technology** Understands the application of the tools at hand to maximize the efficiency and quality of inspections. Qualifications: **QUALIFICATIONS** : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
