Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems. Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders. Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation. Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Follow company policies and procedures

· Thorough knowledge of Syteline and internal processes required

· Utilize Syteline and various status lists to track, and report on fabricated parts

· Facilitates rapid progression of Fabricated Parts through individual processes

· Performs functions in Syteline required to expedite parts and materials through the system

· Transports hot parts to and from local vendors

· Delivers materials for hot orders to the shop floor as required

· Works with procurement, receiving, vendors, and stores to expedite materials

· Works with receiving, procurement, and quality to resolve receiving exceptions and MDR’s

· Liaison’s with engineering, production, and procurement to achieve solutions to any issues that arise

· Other duties as assigned

· Cleans work area, when required with minimal supervision.

· Other various duties, as needed or assigned.
