How you will make contributions that matter...

The incumbent will complete daily tasks which include production support and preventative maintenance to ensure the plant runs efficiently. Troubleshooting equipment, identifying issues with instrumentation and/or processes to minimize unscheduled downtime and ensure work is performed in accordance with relevant codes/regulations.

Salary Range: $70,825.00 - $106,185.00

Schedule: M-F (nights) (11pm-7am)

You are best suited for the role if you…

Install, modify, maintain, and calibrate electrical/electronic instrumentation and equipment including but not limited to flowmeters, level transmitters, pressure sensors, conductivity sensors VFD’s, temperature transmitters power supplies, gauges, and test equipment.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine

Interface (HMI), Industrial Control Systems, Industrial networks & Electrical equipment to ensure reliable operations

Maintain and update electrical drawings and maintenance records for equipment.
Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, as required to keep processes/production running.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary cross-functional team to support the production department and ensure availability of plant equipment.

Other duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: 

Instrumentation & Control Technician (447A) Red Seal Certification or equivalent. 
5 years of related experience in a FMCG or related production environment.

Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic instrumentation and equipment including the use of instruments for diagnostic purposes.

Ability to read and comprehend instructional manuals, instruction sheets and technical data.

Ability to understand, interpret and maintain electrical drawings.

PLC experience with Allen Bradley, PLC 5, and RS Logix 500 & 5000 programming and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of PLC Hardware and wiring of cards and I/O.

Proficient with HMI’s, including PanelView, Factory Talk, and Wonderware

Industrial networking knowledge of all applicable networks. (Ethernet, ControlNet, Profibus troubleshooting and maintenance).

Strong troubleshooting skills on machine, process, and instrument level and ability to resolve malfunctions.

Excellent interpersonal skills and capable of working in collaboration with a team.

Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and manage urgent business needs.

Willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment.
