REQ12457 Technician, Surveillance Technology (Open)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Equipment Installation

Installs new CCTV and electronic equipment.Installs electronic cabling systems; data and power cables throughout complex as required.Installation and termination of above to a high standard.Applies appropriate testing to newly installed equipment to ensure sound functionality

Equipment Servicing, Fault Finding and Repairs

Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance to all CCTV equipment used to support Security, Surveillance, and Gaming OperationEmploys effective fault-finding techniques to rectify equipment failureEnsures all repairs are conducted properly and are of a superior quality

Equipment Failure Response

Plans for appropriate response to equipment failureEvaluates and confirms reported failureInstigates repair or rectification of defective equipmentInforms manager of all faults noted

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical/ Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge of Windows based operating systems and all associated desktop hardware and softwareKnowledge of data networks, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets and extranetsKnowledge of Data Streaming-Packets, TCP-IP Data StreamingKnowledge of Real time Audio-Video StreamingBachelor Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Systems Engineering or other relevant subjectCISCO Computer Network Programming Certificate would be considered as an advantageGreek and English – both spoken and writtenEU passport holder
