Job Description
As a Test Solutions Engineer (TSE) Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for supporting Test Engineering efforts. You will be required to setup new products and processes, maintain scripts, setup experiments, supply data that is critical to the success of the engineering teams, monitor processes, and provide timely feedback to engineering teams when problems arise. Position is also applicable for T3+ candidates as well.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Set up Required Systems for Products for the Responsible Area.
Set up experiment and help program release validations.
Set up and maintain data collection and generation.
Manage all engineering parts, module and make sure high value inventory compliance.
Investigate flags, alarms, and other abnormal yield or excursion indicators.
Monitoring product performance variations and solve production issue with site test engineering.
Investigate and Implement Solutions Related to Probe and Test Processes in a timely manner.
Identify root cause of equipment and/or process parameter shifts.
Support process excursion activities, including identification, containment, notification, and implementation of corrective actions.
Provide timely feedback and solutions to any problems on the production floor.
Drive Improvement in processes and tools that reduce cost, improve quality and Reliability.
Support intra-departmental and multi-site teams in development of new processes and capabilities to support product roadmap. Lead teams and drive development where necessary.
Participate on intra-departmental and multi-site teams to drive, develop, and implement improvements in equipment or processes that reduce cost (e.g., reduction in scrap, rework, cycle time reduction, or increase in throughput or yield) and/or improve quality and/or reliability.
Drive process change in other departments (where applicable) to reduce test tooling, processing costs, part functionality and/or complexity.

Additional Information:
Candidates with a lesser qualifications may be considered with an appropriate combination of related experience.
Experience
Working knowledge of Micron Probe/Test systems process software modules including tracking, disposition, Die File System (DFS), All Crunch, Containment, SPC, summary data systems, and report generation tools.
Working knowledge of Probe/Test Equipment such as Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and handlers, probers, probe cards, burn-in ovens.
Qualifications
Ability to work well with others.
Attention to detail.
Skills in Linux/Unix, Window O/S, Perl, C/C++/C#, and Python are preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable reading, writing, and speaking English.
