POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technician (UPS) shall be responsible for achieving on-going guest/internal customer satisfaction and team goals through maintenance/operations and upkeep of all assigned facilities within the property, consistency of electricity supplies, water supplies, proper and continuous working condition of all facilities of the property.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides personalized and professional service to both guests and our internal customers.
2. Provides accurate and correct information to guests about hotel and casino services, and amenities.
3. Responds to requests from guests/internal customer and provides assistance and information about the local areas (e.g., directions, places to eat, etc.).
4. Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the company by diligently following the preventive maintenance program of the property, including electrical/mechanical/plumbing standards.
5. Ensures he fully understands and follows the instructions of superior in operating and controlling plant and equipment. 6. Performs assigned monitoring and repair works on time to ensure guest/internal customer satisfaction and convenience. 7. Responds appropriately to guest requests. Promptly communicates guest/internal customer requests to immediate superior or to assigned position responsible.
8. Shows flexibility in terms of one’s schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel/casino/public areas as directed by the engineering manager or immediate supervisor.
9. Performs preventive maintenance of hotel/casino/public areas both in front and heart of the house areas.
10. Abides by Company policy on grooming standards.
11. Be a team player; help out colleagues when possible. 12.Performs other reasonable duties as may be assigned by his superior from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
l. Experience
1. Preferably with above 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel or large commercial building center in a similar capacity.
2. Working knowledge on hotel maintenance operations is an advantage.
ll. Education
1. BS Electrical Graduate/Vocational related course is preferred but not a requirement.
lll. Skills / Competencies
1. Average to good English communication skills.
2. With experience in Hotel operation and maintenance is an advantage.
3. Knowledgeable in electrical controls and can interpret wiring diagram including trouble shooting.
4. Preferably with two (2) years of experience in UPS operations and maintenance or five (5) years on any engineering field.
