Summary: Overhaul, test, and repair fire extinguishers and oxygen system components using OEM manuals, calibrated tools, and documented work orders.
Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED
3–5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency using hand tools
Experience working with high-pressure oxygen systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, parts manuals, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to complete work orders and required documentation
Ability to test components using pressure gauges and flow meters
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues using maintenance manuals
Ability to torque regulators to cylinders per OEM specifications
Ability to perform hydrostatic testing on oxygen cylinders
Preferred SkillsA&P certification
Aircraft industry experience
Experience overhauling oxygen masks and cylinder/regulator assemblies
Experience receiving and performing incoming inspection of equipment and products
Job ResponsibilitiesOverhaul and repair fire extinguishers, oxygen masks, and cylinder/regulator assemblies
Perform receiving and product inspection for incoming equipment
Complete work orders, test records, and other required paperwork
Test equipment using pressure gauges and flow meters to verify performance
Troubleshoot mechanical issues by following applicable maintenance manuals
Install and torque regulators to cylinders per OEM manual specifications
Conduct hydrostatic testing of oxygen cylinders and document results
Pay: 18-26

Pay Details: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour
