POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technician shall be responsible for helping to achieve guest and internal customer satisfaction and team goals through the maintenance/operations and upkeep of all assigned facilities within the property, consistency of power and water supplies, and proper and continuous working condition of all facilities of the property.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the company, as assigned by the superior, by diligently following the preventive maintenance program of the property.

2. Fully understands and complies with the instructions of the superior in operating and controlling the plant and equipment, as applicable.

3. Performs assigned monitoring and repair works on time to ensure guest/internal customer satisfaction and convenience.

4. Responds appropriately to guest and internal customer requests. Communicate such requests to the immediate superior and/or to the person responsible or department in a timely manner.

5. Performs routine inspection and works with preventive maintenance team, as may be required, while waiting for guests’ requests.

6. Shows flexibility in terms of one’s schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the designated areas, as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.

7. Abides to Company policy on grooming standards.

8. Be a team player; helps colleagues when possible.

9. Provides service to both guests and internal customers.

10. Provides accurate and correct information to guests about hotel, services, and amenities, as needed.

11. Responds to guests’ requests for assistance and/or information about the local areas (e.g., directions, places to eat, etc.), as needed.

12. Performs other reasonable duties assigned by his superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

I. Experience

1. Preferably with 1-2 years of work experience from a 5-star hotel or large commercial building/shopping center in a similar capacity.

2. Working knowledge on hotel maintenance operations is an advantage.

II. Education

1. Vocational-related course or Degree is preferable but not a requirement.

III. Skills / Competencies

1. Average to good English communication skills.

IV. Other Attributes

1. Good customer service orientation.
